Practical information

The summer school will take place at l'institut des Etudes Scientifiques (IES) in Cargèse, Corsica (France). The main amphitheater is equipped with air conditioning and ideally located by the sea, not far from a beautiful beach. More information can be found on the IES website.

All participants will be accommodated in shared double rooms in the conference center or in apartments in the village of Cargèse (20 minutes walk). The Conference center housing facilities include 30 double rooms, including three rooms fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. Apartments and the rooms at the conference center are equipped with shared kitchens. Housing will be arranged by the staff of the conference center, who will do their best to fulfill your preferences. Lunches are included and will consist of a buffet composed of locally sourced products with a vegetarian option.  Evening meals are not included. The village of Cargèse offers numerous restaurants, reasonably priced and with vegetarian options.

Transfer to and from Cargèse

Attendees should be at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques de Cargèse on July 23^rd. The simplest way to get there is to take the shuttle that will pick up participants from Ajaccio airport on July 22^nd in the afternoon (exact time to be set depending on participants’ flight arrival). At the end of the program, a shuttle will take the participants from Cargèse to Ajaccio Airport on August 3^rd. Detailed information will be communicated later.
